I Agree With The Earlier Reviewer – Olympus Underwater Digital Camera Review
The screen would work, show menus but the camera itself wouldn’t show anything on the screen with the lens was open. It was very odd, we waited a few minutes and tried again and it worked fine. Movies are spectacular, while the screen shows good reproduction, its nothing like once you get it on your computer! The metal lens protector on the front will move and not bounce back to position if the camera is turned off. I finally decided to get it and ended up being very disappointed. The response was way too slow. The detail that came out was amazing. It captured the bubbles coming out of our nose and mouths.
I really made points with my granddaughter on her 18th birthday. She picked it out on Amazon and is using it at the beach. I do however with there was a view finder so taking pictures in the dark would be easier. This is my second stylus water proof camera. I have had this camera for only about a week and I love it! The pictures and movies are so clear. Now if I was only using it for video it would give it 5 stars. But we take pictures with it as well, right”
It’s my second one and now, with the addition of high-def video, I really can’t say anything negative about the Stylus Tough 6020 underwater video!
The screen is full of water. I am over it. I snorkeled several times for the whole week and it did not fail. So I opted to buy my own Olympus to use on my next trip to Mexico.
But if you screw up and put it in first all you have to do is clear out your pictures, eject the card and then plug it up to the computer for a fresh install. So let me start with the positive. I like it very much and got this one as a gift for my fiance. We use them for video half the time.
I took it to the beach multiple times, went snorkeling for a couple of hours, and use it for everyday shots. The pictures are crystal clear.
The down load of photos and movies was difficult and would not mate with the PC documents files. The battery time was OK and the photos were good.
It is beautiful, and it takes amazing pictures! ESPRESSO CUPS GLASS.
