Why You Shouldn’t Buy A Registry Cleaner
Have you noticed the big hype that’s been going on with people trying to get their hands on the absolute best registry cleaners? Well I’ll let you in on a little secret – if your looking to make your computer faster then using a registry cleaner will give you very little, if any, noticeable results. If you not exactly sure what a registry cleaner is, it’s a database that is used to store all of your computers configurations for the operating system and the programs that you use. When you make a change to a program, the registry that corresponds with that program/application will either change or add a new registry. If there are redundant registries or registries that are not being used then the computer will run inefficiently and this is where a registry cleaner will come in.
So what does a registry cleaner do that’s so important? Registry cleaners are designed to remove unwanted or redundant registry entries that are not serving any purpose at all on the registry. Basically they are just taking up space and not doing anything which will lead to your computer running slower. The idea here is that if you remove these redundant entries your computer will run faster. And the truth of the matter is that it will. But how much difference does it make?
See what most people don’t know is that cleaning up your registry will not make your computer super fast. What will happen is that your computer will become a tiny bit faster – so tiny that you most likely will not even notice a difference. If you are lucky you might save a few seconds here and there, but don’t buy into the hype that is going on. What the registry companies and computer geeks don’t tell you is that using a registry cleaner to clean up your computer only cleans up small portions of your computer.
If you want to make your computer faster there are a lot of other things that you need to do like clean up different areas of your computer and also do some minor tweaks to your operating system here and there. Using a registry cleaner to try and make your computer faster is like having a muddy car to clean and you are spending all of your time cleaning one tire. Sure that tire will be really clean, but the car as a whole will still be dirty and inefficient.
The real question here is: should you stop using registry cleaners all together? No. Cleaning out your registry will make your computer a little bit faster and what you want is to made many different areas of your computer faster so that the overall picture in the end will be that your computer will run faster due to this build up of efficient parts. I don’t suggest paying for a registry cleaner which is why I am recommending the main one that I use – Ccleaner. Just do a Google search for it. Once you have the program installed just run a scan and it will clean out all of the inefficient area’s of your computer. It also doubles as a nice all purpose cleaner on the home screen so feel free to also use that.
